I would like to introduce you to MomsHouse and provide you with a calendar of our past and upcoming events. Currently I am seeking community and fiscal partners in my goal to enable our elders. My purpose in this introduction is to reach out to you as an ally to aid in our elders fight for independence and quality of life. The following are our Mission and Vision statements:
Mission Statement
To enhance and improve the quality of life for our elder community by providing free or low-cost access to products, services and information.
Vision Statement
Within the next 5 years MomsHouse will be the dominant resource vehicle in the Antelope Valley for all elders to recognize and realize their independence by whatever method is appropriate for the individual using tailor-made programs as well as existing community partners.
Currently we are seeking funding for operations, event costs, The Alzheimer’s Walk and the “From a Seniors Perspective” event. We would graciously accept monetary, time, supplies or equipment donations. We also need locations for the Healthy Living and Senior Perspective events and items for an upcoming silent auction. Any and all assistance would be a blessing to MomsHouse.
My organization is pre revenue and we are existing by my personal funding and donations from helpful patrons like yourself. We are a 501 (c) (3) tax exempt organization. Below you can view some of the things we have done so far and our future agenda. I am also hoping to launch our new “Adopt a Gran program” which will provide phone calls or an electronic connection to isolated elders.
