MomsHouse was established August 2014 in tribute to Chalmetta Elaine Paulette Johnson, who died from accelerating Multiple Sclerosis. My mother’s courageous journey of maintaining her independence and dignity inspired the idea to create an organization to work collaboratively with seniors to do the same.
MomsHouse is excited to reach out to seniors in the Antelope Valley community. We offer information, education, resources, socialization and non-medical emotional support. Our mission is to enhance and improve the quality of life for the elder community by providing free or low-cost access to products, services, and information; to lessen the generational gap by fostering multi-generational relationships.
This year we introduced our annual Fashion show Fundraising event. We had fashions by Erica Angeline and Anna’s Bridal and Quinceanera. We had performances from Yung-N-Christ and The MomsHouse Royal Movers and guests from Senator Wilks office as well as Senior of the Year, Fran Sereseres.
The event provided an engaging social experience and will aid in bringing the generations closer through enhanced communications and relationships while raising funds for MomsHouse. Amazing!!!!!!!!!
